Orange County Visitors Bureau

The Chapel Hill Orange County Visitor’s Bureau was ready to present the area to visitors and tourists in a sleek, attractive format. They approached Calliope with a request to develop from scratch a 4-color full size magazine. The Bureau provided the factual content, we were in charge of the concept, design and contributing editorial. The result was a friendly and unexpected organizational structure paired with a colorful and photo-rich design—all delivered on time and on budget. The Visitors Guide has won numerous awards, including the coveted 2007 platinum award for best publication from the NC Tourism Bureau.

Chapel-Hill Carrboro Chamber of Commerce

Calliope has worked with the Chamber for five years, producing invitations, advertising, newsletters, area guides and direct mail pieces. Calliope also produces from scratch the Chamber’s annual relocation guide, Perspectives, handling table of contents development, design, layout, copy-writing, proofreading, fact-checking and advertising production. Most recently Calliope embarked on a full-scale rebranding program for the Chamber, resulting in a new identity, color scheme and strategy in addition to numerous national awards.

National Press Photographers Association

Calliope serves as an out-of-house creative department for the NPPA, working on advertising and marketing projects on an as-needed basis for the past five years. Without sacrificing quality or time, we’re able to step in and out of projects with flexibility, keeping rates low yet maintaining a close relationship — true partnership!

North Carolina Restaurant & Lodging Association

We have partnered with the NCRLA on their quarterly membership magazine for four years, providing layout and production assistance for both editorial and advertising and allowing their communications department to focus on strategy and direction.
